A young man with frequent episodes of palpitations

      A 21-year-old man with a 4-year history of frequent episodes of palpitations was admitted to the hospital for electrophysiologic study. Often he could terminate the episodes by a Valsalva maneuver. However, other times he came to the emergency room, and 2 different types of tachycardia were observed.
