In 2011, a 67-year-old woman underwent 3 valve replacements, comprising aortic and
mitral mechanical valves and a tricuspid prosthesis (left anterior oblique view, Figure 1). After the surgery, she underwent epicardial pacemaker implantation for high-degree
atrioventricular block with permanent atrial fibrillation.
